Process crimes like lying to FBI agents checking security clearances should be punished. How are we supposed to hold our officials to account if they can lie with impunity? Besides, Mueller's goal is to use the crimes you don't care about to get testimony on crimes you might care about. I assume there are crimes you'd care about. Surely you're not in the group that says he could shoot someone on Fifth Avenue(1), do abortions in the Oval Office(2), molest kids(3), and you wouldn't care. Are there such crimes? His national security adviser was planning on dropping sanctions and teaming up with Russia (whose PAYROLL he was on) to nuclearize the Middle East. The same national security adviser, now under indictment for process crimes you don't care about, was overheard scheming to have a legal resident of the US kidnapped and shipped to Turkey (another country whose PAYROLL he was on) to be murdered. What was the next step? To let hostile foreign powers murder people here on American soil? Since Flynn and President Blowshard were so tight, what did the President know and give his nod to?
