Since the word democracy goes back to at least the time of Lincoln it's seems some are over thinking it or trying to push an agenda that is NOT based on our history. Btw,I can take it back much furtrher.

James, I've been seeing this more and more from conservatives, that America isn't a democracy.

I don't get the motivation behind this argument. Most people know that we don't have a direct democracy. (By the way, a lynch mob is not a "democracy," despite what the video claims.)

Instead, we have a democratic republic, and that is what is colloquially known as a "democracy."
