I know the politics and the economics of the Great Recession. I can show why the Great Recession happened with one chart. I can define the steps to our recovery from TARP to QE to near zero interest rates. I can show a majority of republicans refused to help Bush or Obama during the crisis and I can show that Europe did what republicans wanted when they cut spending which threw them back into recession. If republicans had the power we'd be a depression or at a minimum, we'd have gone into double or triple dip recessions as Europe did. It was only after they increased spending and instituted QE that their economies recovered. Both were strongly opposed by the republican party. We know this because Europe did what they wanted to do and it was a disaster. Can I "analyze events?" Yes. I do facts and the facts damn the gop on every single issue.
