<<oracle is nowhere close to oversold>>

Mark,

I have the same opinion of Ellison, but they are the second largest software company, they have lost over 50 % of their value recently, and their exposure to Asia is just 15% of their revenues, most of it in Japan. Ads for their Network Computer just started here in San Francisco and may or may not add to growth. They have a lot of negatives, a lot of positives, and have already been taken out to the woodshed and shot. They may still go down, but if there is a rally following an asian rally, they may participate since they were the first to dive blaming Asia. I like software more than hardware plays, as the S Korean semi's can always undercut the Microns of this world, while foreigners will, in the forseeable future, need the american software to increase productivity.

In mainly for a trade,

Regards,

Richard

Hi Mark,

Out of Oracle with some nice pocket change... Happy? I'm back to 100% cash. Today's response to Asia's rally, Intel's and TI's earnings has been lack luster at best. What happens when we get bad news, which is certain to come from Asia and possibly from Iraq? We may be entering a Bear Market.

Regards,

Richard
