Hi Carolyn,

"How can I draw a long-term trendline and then do some shorter-period charting with the trendline plotted ?"

I also noticed that when drawing trendlines on a longer-term chart caused them to disappear on a shorter term chart. However, drawing a trendline on the shrter-term chart still shows up on the longer term chart.

I think you have 2 basic options:

1) After drawing your trendline, adjust the number of periods to keep your trendline viewable, or

2) Rather than making your tredline one long one, make it a series of shorter ones that will show up on the shorter-term chart.

Hope that makes sense and helps...
