For over 20 years Rush has been saying the same thing. He just can't figure out how the rich got so rich by stealing from the poor, the common liberal mantra. Sometimes his logic and pointed understanding is on-target and faultless.
he should take a closer look at a guy like

en.wikipedia.org

or Jeff Skilling

cheatsheet.com

There are plenty of zillionaires crooks that rode over the backs of the poor and middle class to get their wealth.

Rush has been saying the same lies for over 20 years because he knows if you repeat lies often enough, some dumb people will eventually believe them.

There is no logic in his lies.

Yes, wealthy people are enriched at the expense of poor people.

They don't take money directly from poor people, they simply prevent poor people from getting it by paying for laws to be enacted that favor the wealthy, then reaping the rewards those laws grant them.

Homeowners are allowed to deduct the mortgage interest they pay from their taxed income.

Renters are not allowed to make a similar deduction, even though the rent they pay goes to pay mortgage interest.

As a result homeowners effectively pay far less for housing than renters.

That allows homeowners to accumulate wealth that poor people can not.

Homeowners don't have to take money from directly from the poor, their lobbyists have worked out a deal with the government to have the government do it for them.

Business and corporate tax laws have thousands of provisions that penalize poor people and benefit the wealthy.

The only reason Rush didn't do jail time for all his drug deals is because he's wealthy.

It's a great metaphor that his drug addiction and abuse made him deaf, though, isn't it?

He was deaf to truth (just like those who listen to him) for years before he literally made himself deaf from drug use.
