I have a friend working for FEMA. After almost a year working in NC, she was able to finally come home.Then the hurricanes hit. She was at the bottom of the recall list and has been in all three states. She's currently in PR and says it's hell on earth. She got a few days off before being recalled but not nearly enough time.When she hit PR she worked 72 hour weeks. She tells me she finally has a decent place to sleep at night...it's something. I live in the real world where real people do real things. Not one populated by nuts who lie all the time.
