The Steele dossier said a 19% stake in Rosneft (Russian govt owned) would be offered in exchange for lifting Russian sanctions. Sure enough, six months later 19.5% of Rosneft was sold to an unknown buyer in the Cayman Islands.

Sadly (for the conspirators), the deal fell through. Congress voted 98-2 and 319-3 to tie the President's hands on sanctions. The spun off Rosneft shares were resold to a Chinese company. The deal fell through probably because Congress learned about the whole thing from the dossier.

Still, but the prediction of this 19% spinoff for no business reason was a validation of a key part of the dossier.
