He told me that this was a property that was mined by the Inca indians 1,000 years ago and the way that they mined it they had a lot of ore that was not recoverable and went into a gorge.

The Incas built a large reservoir on the top of a mountian and when it was filled with rain water they would release the water down the mountian wash away the dirt through a rock dam that would catch the larger nuggets. The smaller ones went through the dam with the gold dust into a gorge were it settled.

He also told me that this is not a mine but the tailings of that mine and that it is verry large
