Update on silver market.

IMHO if market accepts that the price is being manipulated then there is a strong possibility of a sharp upturn in POS.

IMF's Fischer in Jakarta to review reform measures

Saturday January 10, 11:45 pm Eastern Time

JAKARTA, Jan 11 (Reuters) - IMF First Deputy Managing Director Stanley Fischer arrived in Jakarta on Sunday and said he would review Indonesia's progress in implementing economic reforms.

''We'll be taking a look at the (IMF) programme and see how it is going,'' he told reporters at a Jakarta hotel when asked what he hoped to achieve.

Fischer heads a delegation from the International Monetary Fund and was expected to insist Jakarta demonstrate it was not backsliding out of commitments made to the IMF in exchange for a $43 billion bail-out plan in October.

IMF Managing Director Michel Camdessus was also due to arrive on Wednesday to lend weight to the delegation as Indonesia teeters on the brink of financial collapse.

President Suharto -- who reiterated his commitment to reforms last week -- announced the delay of 15 major infrastructure projects on Saturday night but Fischer said he not seen details of the measures.
