Nature doesn't mess about. After studying the wind and water flows in the gulf of Mexico for a few days I predicted and explained that the Transocean and BP Oil spill would be a fizzer. Sure enough. But the USA used it to rob BP of umpty $billion. What a win for the USA.

The Manukau harbour where I grew up was seething with marine life when I was 4. By 20 it was dead from pollution from many sources which were government muck. Then good environmentalism banned pollution and over a few decades it is coming back to life. But there is still too much organic stuff running off roads from plants; leaves mostly. But at least there's no more lead from cars, engines leak not much oil, tyres don't wear so fast, roads are sealed not dust producers.
