Every part of the dossier that's presently confirmable has been confirmed, and much has already been found indicating future confirmation of that which isn't presently confirmable. This tweet is an attempt to undercut the inevitable future confirmation of nearly the full dossier. Seth Abramson? Verified account Seth Abramson added, Donald J. FBI TAINTED.” And they used this Crooked Hillary pile of garbage as the basis for going after the Trump Campaign! 2/ With witnesses from multiple intel agencies (including the CIA), the Ritz Moscow, Trump's security detail, Trump's entourage, the Miss Universe pageant, and others, even the most salacious allegation in the dossier is at this point to be considered more than 80% confirmed. 3/ Trump is exploiting a decision made by American media to report thoroughly on no part of the Steele Dossier until every word in its 35 pages can be confirmed. This bizarre journalistic decision now aids and abets the president's outright lies on the subject on Twitter. 4/ The FBI did not go to Christopher Steele, as the president and his allies well know. Steele, a former Russia desk chief at MI6, was so concerned about the evidence of treason he had uncovered via his top Russian HUMINT he went to the FBI and continued his work pro bono. 5/ Hillary Clinton had nothing to do with the information that ended up being in that dossier. She had nothing to do with that dossier getting to the FBI. She had nothing to do with that dossier getting to Congress. She had nothing to do with that dossier getting to the media. 6/ She certainly had nothing to do with the FBI finding the dossier credible. Anyone who's researched it with any attention—including a former criminal investigator like me—has found ample indicia of its reliability and accuracy. Those who deride it often haven't even read it. 7/ Steele himself, a former member of UK law enforcement with (a) no allegiance to any US political party, (b) full knowledge of who his sources are, and (c) no financial motive (as the job ended many, many months ago) predicts the Dossier will be found to be 70% to 90% accurate. cnbc.com The prediction six months in advance of the 19% of Rosneft transaction is pretty powerful confirmation the dossier contained info from high up in the Russian establishment.
