Hey Frank,

Congratulations on the DELL short, but you covered, right?

I still have my CUBE, and actually added a bit more to it the other day, but I intend to trade the new shares once it bounces up. It's kind of interesting how two of my favorites, CUBE and DELL, have converged with DELL's DVD-ROM selection. It reinforces my strong opinion of DELL that they didn't ever opt for software MPEG-2 decode, but held out for hardware, and good hardware at that..

I'm sorry that you got kicked off of AOL, but I bet it's an interesting story.

Finally, congratulations on the Wolverines winning their share of the National Championship. I know how sweet it is. Did you go to the Rose Bowl? I feel that we (Texas) can only improve with Mack Brown in charge, and he's already declared that he's had a successful recruiting class since Ricky Williams, nation's leading rusher is staying for his senior season.

Regards and good luck,

Stephen

FP, it's not the fact that you make money on puts.
I more more money on cpq puts last month than you will ever make in your entire investing career.
It's when you rub people on it.
I wouldn't have even talked about it unless a starry eyed newbie to investing said I didn't know what a put was.
In fact I made almost as much money on puts last yr. as calls.
the huge qunatity of cpq calls I bot right after they announced their split is what made my calls more than puts.
I rolled them up three times..

Frank<<I got kicked off AOL though as my calls for a drop in the Nasdaq were upsetting people. Turned out I was right but I'm sure the smug people who got me kicked off think they won.>>

Just found this post, and felt compelled to respond. FP was not kicked off of AOL for the calling of the NASD to decline. LOTS of people do that, including me. He was kicked off for his personal, vindictive, mean-spirited attacks on people. One doesn't get kicked off of AOL for indicating an opinion.
