The presumption that college is the only, or even the best, way to learn skills is misguided. Large companies today understand this. Companies like Mercedes and Google, Universities like Princeton, have begun transitioning to do-it-yourself education through Udacity to train engineers for autonomous vehicles. They need people, quickly. This is how you get it.

Great, learn history. But we're hiring today if you have the ability to solve abstract problems, differential equations, and convert it to code -- today. Because before you get out of college this product is going to be on the street.
