The vasectomy issue is that the sperm ends up in your bloodstream with people developing over 30 antibodies to sperm components. There are dozens of potential side effects with many conflicting answers but a lot of reason to believe some people can have a bad outcome they never would have had. There is a frontal lobe dementia with a progressive aphasia which is rare but appears to be autoimmune in nature and there is a high incidence of vasectomies in these patients. There are studies saying it causes MI, prostate cancer and dozens of other possible illness. Would you inject your own ground muscles into your veins on a regular basis? We know so little in medicine any brilliant MD will have many opinions outside the mainstream and look much like your crazy MD. Only a smart MD is likely to figure them out. I know some brilliant doctors

re <<I'm 65 and having Proton Beam Therapy at the hospital that pioneered PBT in Loma Linda California.

So far, so good. Libido intact. Can still have sex. Very limited side effects so far. Corona beer has always been a favorite but last night tasted a little bitter - possible side effect???
>>

... hk sanatorium installing the proton machine. understand its advantages w/r to possible permanent side effects. have one friend about to go proton beam.

i considered briefly the proton beam protocol but quickly opted to just excise and take a chance on recovery from incontinence / libido issues. gamble paid off w/i 8 months.
noting the salvage operation aspect played in my decisioning.

re <<Of course, dr says that I wont have any ejaculate when treatment is complete>>

... not any particular issue ... all the fun without the mess :0)

we are all going to grow older, and no one gets out alive, so might as well make do w/ health and wealth preservation :0) irrespective of what self-claimed smarties try to pointlessly stir up in our cafe dialogue.

staying younger is all about maintaining curiosity and sustaining learning, imo, and dialogue about anything with anyone is the thing to do. should folks deem becoming to interject with ... "You look like old people discussuing: Pork chops. avocado and tomatoes salad. Potatoes and brocoli.

Washed down with Eaglehawk Cab Sav wine. Dessert? Banana split
yesterday and today were rest days from the gym.

Tomorrow chest and legs."

... just increases the fun factor.
