He doesn't want to pay more taxes - but understands fully the need for taxes to a robust society. Clearly he wants the tax system to target the well to do in higher percentages and your thinking he has some ulterior motive is just ridiculously silly. ..........You haven't listened to him if you believe otherwise.

Nobody wants to pay taxes. Some of us, including Buffet, understand that it's a necessary evil if you want to maintain a functioning society. It's too bad we can't allocate our money to our favorite sectors of the government.
