Stagger, Are you some kind of a joke? If THQI has high earnings like that, can you explain why it will hit 12? I can't help it that you are short. Cover up now because we will be over 30 in June.

SL you have ten stocks in your magic ten- five shorts five longs.

Four of your five shorts went down on Friday. Not too shabby but not that great when the DOW tanks 3%. Which of your shorts didn't go down?

Do you want to talk about your longs. How many of these didn't go down?

Given that one of your longs went down 40% on Thursday I find it difficult to see how you are in the black for the year. THQI has sure helped you so far this year. Its a shame you don't get to settle with your broker based on the difference between the current price and your reference price ie the price on Jan 1 but have to use your actually realization from the short sale. Given the way you are keeping score namely from Jan 1, why not cover the THQI now and declare a victory of sorts.

A couple of days ago you were predicting $14 for THQI now it is $12. Is this sort of like your arithmetic on the shorts when you talked about $9 (the margin requirement) when the stock was $18. Is this sort of half of VectorVest's valuation?

You might be right about THQI dropping by 20% after earnings are announced. If it goes to $30+ in anticipation of the earnings and then drops by $6 prior to resuming its upward march, it won't be too depressing for the longs. But what happens if it shoots up to $35 before taking another pause?

The only thing you have going for you is potential riots and revolutions in Asia. That is your entire strategy on the short side at this point. But with 5 longs in addition to 5 shorts such a doomsday strategy is itself doomed.
