No these figures have to do with permanent loss of independence. Those figures came from a course in geriatric epidemiology I took at John Hopkins University while doing the courses for a Masters of international public health

I took biostatistics at JHH also and it was the second time in my life but this time sunk in. It has helped me many times in investing and medicine. How can someone make decisions even about diet unless one can understand the studies? The text book was so good I still have it Statistics does not change
