Margin requirements make molecular biology look like a day care game. But I figured out that with the current mix in my account, the broker will carry me to about 33% on the marginable stuff. I assume I wouldn't be allowed to make a purchase at some higher %, but won't swear to it.

Maybe I should give it a push, just to see where he would call. (:->)

Cyto, forgot to check whether its 3 or 5 days, I will get back to you on that. Intel huh. Huge bets are being placed by supposed pros on where their earnings are going to come in.
Long term itis a great play. they own the market. Intel spends more money on R&D than the combined revs of thier direct competitors. Asia will short term negativelly effect sales and earnings but that creates a buying opportunity. In fact Intel is such a good value IMHO that it is hard to justify playing biotechs from a pure economic stand point. So long as bandwith is bottlenecked the network will not be the computer and even when the bottleneck is broken processor speed will be important. You just can not go wrong on this one.
