After decades of finance-based pseudo -economy, the coin, finally, dropped to the poorer people of the developed world.

They discovered that a finance based economy benefits the upper echelon to the detriment of the pyramid bottom. They are seeing what poor countries have seen for their entire life: they can't make progress. Maximum they can do is to get by.

The 99% looked around and saw the obvious: we are the vast majority! They elected DJT. They vote out of the EU BREXIT! and more dangerous: they are looking to the extreme right to come save them from getting to African levels.

The finance-based pseudo-economy is not geared for redistribution of wealth. Compare that with the industrial era, Then, there was a possibility of manipulating taxation. Unionism and increased productivity to improve the economic well being of the poor guy.

In a finance based economy, the aims to get rid of the poor guy altogether via Uberization of the world economy. Evidence is all for us to see: AI, Robotics, Industry 4.0 to remove the last production of the developed countries economies.
