I had to install one of these over two years ago...as 120 volt charging did not make sense for every day.

Cost me $1000 at that time.



Now all I need is 14-50 outlet in garage which I already had 2 years ago.



I would have saved $1000 ..plus wiring cost and installation ..which I did myself.



I did not know that Tesla had the NEMA 14- 50 plug in feature... just assumed.. box on the wall was the only way to get level 2 charging at home.Thanks for pointing that out.

Tesla always seems a step ahead of the rest.:)
