Sharkie,
Why do you hate women so much?

... says the hypocrite who thinks grabbing a woman's butt is OK as long as the woman doesn't complain right then and there. #sharkierule

How has no caller asked about the Bannon/Trump feud?

Nearly 2 hours into "Breitbart News Tonight" Sirius XM radio show, a caller references Trump's comments on Bannon. Bannon replies, "The president of the United States is a great man. You know I support him day in and day out."

According to CNN,

Former White House chief strategist Steve Bannon is reiterating his support for President Donald Trump after his former boss blasted him over explosive comments he made in a new book.

Speaking on Breitbart radio Thursday morning, Bannon assured a caller that “nothing will ever come between us and President Trump and his agenda” adding that “we’re tight on this agenda as we’ve ever been.

On Wednesday night, Bannon praised Trump personally while hosting the Breitbart News Tonight radio show on SiriusXM.

“The President of the United States is a great man,” he said. “You know, I support him day in and day out.”

Nice try, Bannon. The comments he made just yesterday certainly didn’t sound like support.

As NBC documented,

Steve Bannon said a June 2016 Trump Tower meeting between the president’s eldest son and a Russian lawyer was “treasonous” and “unpatriotic,” The Guardian reported Wednesday.

President Donald Trump‘s former chief strategist made his comments in an interview with author Michael Wolff for a book out next week, the newspaper said.

“Even if you thought that this was not treasonous, or unpatriotic, or bad, and I happen to think it’s all of that, you should have called the FBI immediately,” Bannon told Wolff, adding an expletive.

Bannon’s comments appear in “Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House,” which is based on more than 200 interviews with the president and members of his staff. The book will be published Jan. 9 by Henry Holt.

“They’re going to crack Don Junior like an egg on national TV,” Bannon predicts.

And President Trump showed that he’s still Donald Trump as his legal team issued a “cease and desist” order to Bannon. Frankly, I don’t think they had to.

As I wrote the other day, Bannon knows where his bread gets buttered. Outside of some Conservative circles, nobody knew Bannon. And even when he hit the scene, the media demonized him, making him the father of the alt-Right. Have you heard that term in a while. Likely no. And that’s because of Donald Trump.

President Trump’s thrashing of the media completely killed their attempts to create new language around the Conservative movement. Those actions took the monkey off the back of Bannon.

So again, why the “brush with political death”?

Money? I doubt it. As I indicated yesterday, people leaving the Trump camp do very well financially. I know Corey Lewandowski now speaks for over $50,000 a pop. Not bad for a poor white kid from PA.

Perhaps Bannon laments not being a White House insider, as that certainly would impact Breitbart. But the brand wasn’t doing bad.

I suspect the heat put on Bannon by the Breitbart board could have played a role. Because without the Trump ties, Bannon is just another old white pseudo-Republican.

Whatever the case, Bannon made the right move to backtrack. Reset. Hit the “easy” button. Because staying the course would not have been good for his career. Still, there are no guarantees he didn’t torpedo his career anyway. But at least he has a shot at redemption.
