I think he ran as a marketing campaign and was shocked when he won. Truth is that I think any of the GOP candidates could have beaten Hillary because she's such an unlikeable person and a criminal as well. I have voted on both sides of the aisle, but I would have never voted for Hillary, because of her well known flaws. In addition, I don't believe in dynasties in a Democracy. Anyway, now we have Trump, he is doing some good things and bad things. The good things are his attempt to create a good partnership between government and business, starting with his tax plan. Contrary to what Dems believe, that is critical to our ability as a country to build and maintain our wealth in the face of very real and fierce competition from China. We are in an economic war with China and we are losing VERY fast on a large scale. The other good thing he is doing is clarifying who are our friends and enemies. Islamic people from the Middle East are NOT our friends and never have been, despite Obama's kissing their asses. The UN is worthless. TPP was worthless. North Korea has to be resolved. These are all things Trump is doing well. On the negative side he doesn't believe in protecting planet earth from pollution. He doesn't believe in climate science. In addition, he seems to be another in a long line of Presidents that thinks its ok to spend endless money through deficits and in supporting a Fed that continues to hold rates below the natural rate and continues to print money in the belief that it brings prosperity. In addition, he is a terrible communicator and brings indignity to the White House. He's a deeply flawed man, but he's our President. The traitorous actions of "The Resistance" need to be quashed and we need to make sure we surround Trump with good advisors to keep his worst impulses in check. But a soft coup through the FBI is nothing but tearing down our institutions to achieve a short term goal at the expense of this country's long term institutions. I don't believe in achieving short term gains through the destruction of this country's foundations. Only fools engage in that kind of activity. Right now, we have plenty of fools among the DNC, liberal base, and within the ranks of the career bureaucrats. The defense of Hillary despite overwhelming evidence that she is a career criminal is part of this foolishness. Time to start being unbiased.
