BB, as always, it will be an interesting week. From your linked article... Mark Edelstone, an analyst at Morgan Stanley, said. ''I expect Intel will be in line with expectations.'' <snip> ''For the semiconductor group, this quarter you will start seeing the beginning of the softness in Asia,'' Kumar said. ''The outlook will be muted because there are more gray skies than anything else.'' I've been wondering where Kumar went.<bG> You said >Close your eyes and hold on, there is gonna be blood everywhere.< Wouldn't want blood on the powder. Did you see the article in Barron's "Good News, through 2008"? Says the bull will roar till then because the 45-54 year old age group is projected to keep increasing. They save and invest more than any other age group. I think I may get out a little early, like 2007, to beat the rush. GM

In this kind of environment, one can never be certain but here's an opposite view "INTEL CORP could see an upside surprise of up to $0.15 a share in the 4Q, up from Wall Street's current consensus estimate, said Ashok Kumar, an analyst at Loewenbaum & Co Inc."
