Kss1: I have not got into the VIX , and don't claim to understand it. I was just commenting that Bill says it's sending a favorable signal that in normal times would indicate the market up. AND that I have several up signals also. BUT we see this as current one way..WIND the other..and I am aware that something even deeper is at work, but just what it is , is the puzzel. The broadness in scop of the melt inside the dow index and the faltering of the MEGA CAPS, is such a strong down sign that the up signals look to be just lonly voices crying in the wilderness. I think both Bill and I both hear a water fall close by. Bill made it clear to me that he is not depending on the VIX signal at this time. 207.183.153.88 Jim
