An insider online web site indicates just 141,000 shares sold during 12/97 for an average price $ 15 5/8th. I'm no expert but that doesn't sound that much. If I was an isider and suspected my stock was going to drop 40 % in a week I'd be selling a lot more than just 141,000 shares. I'd love to have been a fly on the wall when/if MCRE execs
discussed the markets' reaction to their pre-announced .01 to .04 cents qtr. Eric once noted that the last few days of a qtr can be quite significant to revenues. I wonder if MCRE was actually itself too STUNNED by missing .18 cents by a mile ? Luckily for me I'm up $ with AAPL and TRUV but I'd be crying in my Chinese veggie egg dumplings without AAPL/TRUV. Oh, anyone know what the upcoming MCRE conference call 800 number is ?

Nope sorry! MCRE is not a stock I'm in, neither on the long nor the short side. There are too many less risky, more liquid alternatives out there, though I have to admit that anything below 5 would be very tempting.
