I can't speak for any others but maybe if Mike Kugler had been objective in his posting and had used a little tact it may have never come to this.

There is probably more than a little bit of truth to the "tact" part. If he were low-key like Tonto, it probably wouldn't have come to this. He's not low-key, though. Tonto seems content to say what is on his mind, and leave it at that. It seems obvious to me that he doesn't care if folks heed him or ignore him.

Mike, on the other hand, feels very strongly about the value of the internet and also about how it can be abused, and he is driven to fight the abuse whenever he sees it.

I think if these conversations were happening in real life, Tonto might say something, and, finding he's met with derision, just shrug his shoulders and say "Your loss". Mike, on the other hand, is the type to grab your shoulders, shake you, and demand to know what part of it you didn't understand. That's their respective styles.

If only he had followed the example of let's say Tonto for instance he would have been looked at diferently.

I'm not so sure about that. Tonto has been a recent target of Pugs', too.

Who knows, it's water under the bridge now!

Not entirely. It seems Pugs wants to sue Mike. I don't see that he's got a leg to stand on, but I'm not a lawyer.

Kugler chooses to be arrogant and seems to have the EGO that ate Detroit.

The same could be said about me (and often has -- by me), and, yes, I see it in Mike, too. I don't think that warrants the actions that have been taken against him, though.
