Functional Water Society of North America In late October, Medical Discoveries, Inc. agreed to become a founding member of the newly created Functional Water Society of North America. The Functional Water Society of North America is a non-profit organization for research in the science of electrolyzed water. This organization is dedicated to contributing to the scientific exploration of functional water for the benefit of health and the environment. As founding member, MDI will play an active role in the investigation, understanding and promotion of the benefits of "functional waters". Our own Dr. William J. Novick, Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer, was recently invited to serve as a Vice President and Director of this important organization, joining the other distinquished members of the Society's Board of Directors, including Ed Alexander who also serves as the Treasurer of the Functional Water Society of North America. The Society's Advisory Committee is made up of some of the brightest and most knowledgeable experts in the field. The Advisory Committee of the Functional Water Society of North America is focused on the development of "functional waters" in the following areas: Agriculture, Chemistry, Dentistry, Environmental, Food Science, Geriatrics, Immunobiology, Hydrotherapy, Medical, Systems Engineering, Water and Life, Water Physics and Veterinary Medicine. Medical Discoveries, Inc. is proud to become a founding member of this important organization, and we are eager to work closely with, and contribute to, the Society for furthering the understanding, recognition, and commercialization of electolyzed "functional waters". Summary In the last 120 days, we have made substantial progress according to our corporate plan. The new technologies, talent and strategic alliances developed have brought substantial critical mass to MDI and further strengthens our company.
