I would not be too sure about them painting a nice picture, rosy or otherswise. Intel's exceptionally high yields are putting extreme pressure on AMD and it's getting more difficult as the technology advances. Intel is about to spend AMD into oblivion on one hand and price them into the abyss on the other. Sanders may be ready to throw in the towel, IMO, but we shall see.

Chris , any earnings shortfall is now discounted in the stock price .
What investors are looking for is production levels of K6 particularly in .25 form . According to the price and avaiability of K6-233 and rumours that I have been hearing their yiel and output is increasing rapidly . Also Compaq choosing AMD as the sole supplier for below $1200 PCs shows their confidence in the supply of K6s
