In all honesty at this point I think Trump is the furthest thing from most America's minds. He seems to be more heavily covered as a novelty in the foreign press.

There was a commotion initially in America among those who didn't appreciate how our system of government works and its checks and balances - and foolish expectations among the Trumpistas who bought into his lies, but at this point it's no longer relevant part of daily life in America.

I think most Trump supporters knew that Trump was going to screw them at the time they voted for him, just as they knew Reagan was going to screw them. They're an odd bunch.

The new book and Trump's feud with Bannon is simply the final cherry on the top transitioning him to an irrelevant cartoon character for most. The 28% of Americans who are Republican of course are having a public meltdown while their friends, neighbors and families simply roll their eyes.

Economically things are stable and we don't face major obstacles like the stringent currency controls Chinese citizens now face.

As my Grandmother used to say about the Great Depression, it was still warm and sunny in Los Angeles as it is today.
