OK. Now you have picked a topic on which I agree with you completely. I've been on these threads with exactly the same complaints. Exactly as you said, the GOP promised for 7 years to Repeal and Replace. Then when they took power, they had no plan. That's not just incompetence; that's dereliction of duty. What the hell did we pay those people for? Then they couldn't even muster the votes to do a simple Repeal, and as you and I know, a Repeal, without a plan for Replacement is just adding gasoline to the already raging fire of a shitty program that costs the average American more and more every year. My health care insurance doubled in price from 2016 to 2017. That's outrageous.

Now, listen up, because this is where you don't seem to understand me at all. I DON'T support the GOP. I haven't supported them in years. I find them mostly to be incompetent at best and downright idiotic and malign at worst, especially when it comes to believing in the principles of science, climate change, women's right, immigration, endless war, their conflation of religion and state, and their backwards views on social issues. I'm an economic conservative, so there are areas where I agree with the GOP on some economic issues, but even there, I think the GOP has strayed very far from their conservative roots. This is why I vote both sides of the aisle. I pick my votes carefully and base my decisions on the individual. I no longer support any party, because both parties have destroyed this country in their own way through their inflexible ideologies. I think there are many on these threads who feel exactly the same way. Just so you know, I am registered as Unaffiliated/Independent.

Look, the GOP is a stinking carcass. No debate needed there. However, so is the DNC. You have to look no further than the DNC's mistreatment of Bernie and stacking the deck in the favor of Hillary to see that the DNC is corrupt. No wonder I'm an Independent.
