Only thing I know from talking to Treasurer I think it was last week is that earnings should be in line with last quarter- pretax- but NOL carryforward is used up and taxes will have to be accrued.

FWIW- I am sure that is already factored into pricing. NORT will go up when sector turns around. no guarantees on that yet. However- I am holding.

thanks for the good advice

called d. ridley today, he was helpful: earnings are in line with the 3rd quarter, there are some minor tax implications due to increased revenues, other than that nothing is new. they are building the 16th rig. all the other rigs are booked for the next one to three months, with about 70% of them booked for 3 months. if oil prices stay depressed for anothere 6 months their not sure the rig bookings will hold up.

ps. my broker talked me out of buying today....
