Maybe, but just as is the case with the GOP, the small minority have a voice that is a million times greater than all the rest of us. For example, Obamacare was a disaster for most Americans. It has skyrocketed our insurance costs. Everyone is paying far more than they would have otherwise. All of this, so an additional 20 million could be insured. This was quite precisely the tyranny of the minority over the majority. 20 million people who pay nothing into the system are now getting free insurance and the other 280 million Americans have seen their costs double putting a massive squeeze on their ability to make ends meet. That is a bad plan, very simply put. There were better ways to do this. We have a 15-20 great examples of how other countries implement health care in ways that maximize outcomes for everyone without destroying the middle class. But as is usual, we choose the exact way to minimize benefits and maximize costs. Obamacare has to be replaced. None of us can afford it.

Oh and btw, I do believe in universal coverage, but would prefer incentives in there to protect the 95% from the unhealthiest 5% who eat up 95% of the health care resources. We need balance and perspective.

LIBERALS LOOK FOR a fair deal to the rich..the middle..and the poor.....where you get this collectivism from is a small minority
It worked for the Clintons. Went from dirt poor to zillionaires all by scamming the public like TV preachers, although they left a lot of bodies in their wake.

When President Obama first ran in 2008, he claimed his economic policies would "foster economic growth from the bottom up and not just from the top down." He said he'd put in place "an immediate rescue plan for the middle class" and would end the "tired, worn-out, trickle-down ideologies we've been seeing for so many years."

Obama got all he wanted in his first two years in the White House, when Democrats had solid control of Congress — a massive stimulus, auto industry bailouts, temporary middle class tax cuts, vast new regulations on businesses and ObamaCare.

But his policies produced the exact opposite of what he'd promised. The latest evidence is a Pew Research Center report out this week, which shows that only the rich have made gains under Obama, while everyone else has fallen further behind.
