It seems like SI is not quite over Friday's attack yet.
Does anyone else have trouble getting in?

Anyway, I found a good article on Electronic News --
basically a survey of Capital Equipment (CE) companies and
analysts about what 1998 will be like for CE.

The article says the two big trends for 1998 will be
16MF

Anyway, I found a good article on Electronic News --
basically a survey of Capital Equipment (CE) companies and
analysts about what 1998 will be like for CE.

The article says the two big trends for 1998 will be
16MB DRAM to 64MB DRAM and .35 micron to .25 micron. They
think the move to 300 mm wafers will be left to 1999.

ASMLF says they are booked to capacity.

The article also has some good information on the Asian
situation.

About the market -- IMHO even though it was the Indonesian
situation that sparked Friday's selloff -- I don't think anyone
is really worried about Indonesia affecting our market or the
global market. The fear is whether or not this means it will
spread to Japan.

I'm looking to Tuesday after close (like a lot of other people)
to see what Intel will post and say in CC.

I agree with what you are saying about the weak holders leaving
Cymer.

Regards,
Angela
