After your grandfather got the bargain entry the money became the property of the seller. Like going to a supermarket, buying stuff, then whining about the price and wanting a refund 100 years later. Good giggle. And you seem to be saying a whole lot more got in without even paying a head tax. Hordes of people want to escape their crappy countries and be ruled by anglophones. Amusingly, said crappy countries were keen for glorious independence from the amazing great and superlative British Empire. But they soon found out the local barbarians were evil.
