V1 and FL1,

I think I posted a while ago that Fidelity had only a 30% requirement for maintenance, although they would not be allowing margin for some of the stocks in the model, since they are highly choosy. They require 80% for LGND, for example. In any case, I have an account with them and I can tell you from personal experience that they give you % business days to cover a call.

Hey guys, How about DENVER!!!!!!! My condolences on the SF loss to Greenbay, although they were dominated. I suspect Denver will be at least a two touchdown underdog to Greenbay in the Superbowl. I will be rooting for them but would only give them about a 20% chance of winning.

Will be expecting detailed coverage on MP stocks from V1 at H and Q!!!!

Considering the following, it is slightly miraculous that they didn't get downgraded: either they are holding a lot of stock or they think its a great buy.

>>We are as upset about this announcement as our readers. Just on Tuesday, we spoke to CEO Jay Flatley and asked him specifically about the fourth quarter. Mr. Flatley told us that he was comfortable with the aforementioned fourth-quarter estimates and the estimates for 1998. One month ago, when Hambrecht & Quist analyst Robert Olan revised his estimates for the fourth quarter downward by $0.02, from $0.16 to $0.14, we contacted Mr. Flatley and discussed the revision with him and were told that the company was comfortable with $0.14 per share. It is unfortunate that the management of MDYN did not share much of their insights with us both times and as a result, our readers incurred substantial losses on the stock.

Although we feel that this lack of guidance from the management is irresponsible and would normally force us to downgrade the company, we do think that the market overreacted to the news and the stock is indeed attractive right now. Here are the reasons behind our current Buy recommendation: <<

V1:

Look me up. I'll be there too.

Skinny, look like a scientist (confused), ex-blonde, nada at temples now, 49, grey suit, probably blue shirt and gold tie.
