Just a note to say that I am sincerely sorry if I said anything to interfere with the previous line of discussion. As most institutions of higher learning recognize, the foundations of Western civilization, or the absence thereof, deserve all the attention that anyone has time to bestow upon them. Now there's a chance to make a bundle. Just send a publisher a proposal for a history of underwear and call it "Foundations of Civilization." My own as yet undeveloped project is a book called, "How to Get All the Money and Sex You Want--And Lose Weight Doing It!"
