Seriously, this boink/smurf business is a valid business risk to Yahoo. Imagine some stud coming up with a systematic way to crash YHOO's site for hours at a time, over and over again. (Then they'd move on to ONSL and EGRP, hopefully) AOL lost $5 a share last year when they went off for 12 hours.

You have to believe that if YHOO was having the same technical difficulties SI has had this weekend, it would be an exciting Monday morning...

re 401k: bonuses! I know a lot of companies (mine and my wife's included)are distributing large % of bonuses in the form of 401K distributions (either annually in Jan or bi-annually also including Jan) I was under the impression that this was a fairly common practice.
