What?? Everyone getting attacked. SI Windows NT is attacked!! Piece of junk.

wired.com

So how was Costa Rica?? New Mexico was a blast. Didn't hit any tree's skiing!!

So what is the problem with the market. Asia, dollar gaining strength, worries; go hit some golf balls.

Told you to start hedging your portfolio; puts are a great hedge in markets like this. That other M company that I despise for nefarious business practices reports Monday, INTC and AMD reports Tuesday (now that should be interesting), DEC and EK report Thursday and GE sometime this week. So who knows what kind of turmoil will lay siege to the Bull market of unrealistic valuation and high expectations. Will we have a new era of whisper numbers to the downside that move the market. Think about it, rumour mill blathers about say INTC number is .86 but actually meet estimates of .90; willl they rally the stock??

As to QCOM, to be somewhat on topic, hard to say; ASICS are in dollars, royalties are in local currency. Realistically growth of the Korean market was close to maturing internally after such an explosive beginning. They (Koreans) still are manufacturing for export. Sure the US market is due, long overdue, for a significant and lasting correction. Folks are foolish to think that stock market appreciates 20-30% year over year. IT's long in the tooth and due for a sideways, choppy move, probably to the downside similar to '85. Should that restrain QCOM? You are migrating from analog to digital in cellular. You have a need to compete with local access, which is what PCS brings. More advertisement is geared towards "Buy this as a second line". If Asia can settle down a bit and South America can shake it off, then CDMA should continue on. Basic communication infrastucture building isn't going away, might get drawn out a little, but still it should occur.

Don't know and don't care; hit some more golf balls. Send another letter to DOJ, FTC, Congress and BBB to complain about MSFT and it's overpriced junkie, unsecure software and monopolistic business practices. Should demand a rebate for the inconvience that their junk causes. You can complain to the phone company about poor serivce and get a rebate, why not MSFT!! Squeaky wheel gets the grease.
