John, I believe ADBE will have earning come out in March around 20th. I personally don't think that ADBE will have a lot of disappointment earning compare to some other companies like disk drive companies. Actually, I feel if ADBE can go down below to $40 then it is the safe place to stay and expect for the long term gain. If you read the earning of ADBE from Dec. Even ADBE have short fall of revenue from Asia but replacement of revenue growth from Europe. So I personally don't think it will be the serious problems for ADBE. ADBE is the low P/E stock, and with good business trend for next few years. So I don't feel bad to own it if I can buy it below $40. That's is the reason why I have been waiting for.

Currently, I don't have idea about the ADBE's price. But market timer Bob Brinker and some other anaylysists are still very bullish. Bob Brinker said in Late January and early Febuary may be another rally for stock market. In that case ADBE definately will follow suit. So if I sell call and buy put and I will really watch market carefully and as long as stocks hit to $35 I will sell put rightaway and buy the call at the same time And I do choose some companies which will do benefit from Asian crisis. I personally don't think the computer growth will be bad for 1998. Especially now computers are getting cheap so that everybody can afford to computers with $1,000 or less. So I actually would go for stocks like ADBE which will be benefit from computer growth and computer retailers or distributers. I personally own a lot of CHSE(which have been focus major computer makers's distribuers in Latin America and Europe), MICA, and wait for to buy ADBE if it drop below $40.
