Jeff, (or anyone who can answer these questions): your cautious attitude is justified. Being new to this whole Internet business, I have no way to judge the significance of this "hacker" invasion. An earlier post suggests that this person (people) has screwed things up on purpose with the intention of proving that security measures are not working; and further, that electronic brokerage firms may have a problem. In my opinion crashing a site is totally psychotic; it's like breaking into somebody's house to let them know that their house can be broken into, and then peddling a lock. 1. I assume this sort of behavior is against the law. Correct? 2. I assume that at some future point, the culprits will be caught. What sort of penalty or punishment is to be expected? (A guy who breaks into my home is taking his life in his hands.) 3. The only security company that I am familiar with is SDTI. Is this sort of Internet invasion prevented by SDTI products? 4. Do you think there is, or will be tomorrow at 9:30 am, a serious problem? Thanks, Jeff
