WDC and MU share a lot in common. They are both treated like memory commodity stocks. The "hit piece" by Morgan Stanley released on 27 November caused both stocks a lot of "pain".

The charts of prices and quarterly earnings compares the 2 stocks. Also, the small table at the bottom shows the price action from 11/24 to 12/4, a period of 6 trading days after the release of the article. During the 6 trading days, MU fell -19.7% and WDC fell -16.9% driving the PE values to 4.7 and 6.4, and the PEG values to 0.17 and 0.27.

Both stocks show good earnings projected through 2019/2020 but the trend for both is down slightly.

Also note the close comparison of the actual prices and earnings profile of both stocks from 2014 to the present.
