Well - If you can get past the belief the product will be obsoleted (in which case, all bets are off) - INVX is really not that risky over the long term. Sure, the sector is in trouble right now; but not from lack of business. Like most sectors, a cyclical price competition may force out players and put Quantum or Seagate out of business. INVX would have few clients, but the same amount of business.

A good bet at this stage IMHO is that the price wars will eventually stop or we will loss some players. Either way, profitability returns, pressure is release from INVX and everyone makes money again. PC's did the same thing in the early 90's (I can name 12 MAJOR companies that went under or were aquired).

As for the short term, can't say, I don't do short-term and don't understand it well enough to comment.
