Take a look at AMAT and TXN as to what they did before their split and after their split! Just two examples that I can think of where the split did not do one thing to help the downtrend stop! Still looking at AOL as a big double top and a split might benefit the short sellers as it did with AMAT and TXN! Use to be buy the split, as a not so well liked Wade Cook would preach, now I believe the tide has turned on his followers and the smart people are doing right opposite of what he is saying! So I wish YHOO would also announce a split also! Still heavily short AOL and YHOO! Hank
