FTJoe,

Company's can be liable for what their employess do after hours. That's why most of them have strict policies on what an employee can do when off duty, so to speak. It can be construed as a conflict of interest to the company.

If the broker is unemployed that would be a different story, but could be regulated by the NASD. JMHO
