Yes, the Democratic Party has evolved, but there is no sense denying its history of African American oppression. It's the party of slavery, the party of Jim Crow, the party of oppression, the party of poll taxes, the party of racists Wilson and FDR. The Democratic Party founded the KKK, the White League and the Red Shirts. These are facts that establish the heritage of the Democratic Party.
