Gary:
No doubt, the timing is bad if you consider the lack of a positive effect of a good earnings report in this market. However, a bad earnings report would be devastating (just ask holders of Adaptec). Negative news is magnified and positive news is now met with a tempered reaction. This week will be important for the overall market to begin to reverse these effects of the Asian crisis. Many earnings reports due. Good EPS reports from some of the tech leaders would do a lot to calm the market. I look forward to a good earnings report from PTIS, regardless of the reaction.

Things change so quickly in this market, it borders on unbelieveable. Intel announces good earnings, and all of a sudden, PTIS starts acting like a company about to announce a good earnings report. PTIS up again today 5% so far, even with the markets down slightly. Though the PTIS volume does not look very high. Wonder what the future has in store?
