>>BTW, pretty soon we won't have to guess the directionof the market any more. The outcome of the Superbowl will tell. What was that rule again?>>

If old NFL teams win its clear sailing. If old AFL teams win (Denver) we're toast.

GM,

Using these #'s, avg. D/E for the industry is ~16%, meaning IPEC for some reason has a D/E over 5X higher than the industry avg. Haven't had the time to look into it further but needless to say, I am holding off investing in it even at these levels. Thanks for the #'s; I miss having the Briefing Books available to me- my one year free subscription ran out and now that I'm once again a pauper I cannot afford it.<G> Have a trip to Nepal to pay for, which I though would be helped out with AMAT's price; now for the time being I'm putting it on plastic <ouch!>

BTW, I am not even sure of the SuperBowl Effect. I know it has something to do with an original NFL team winning. But I am not sure if when the original team wins it portends good or bad for the market. IMHO, things like this are devised by Finance professors so that they can justify their existence. Meaningless, but it's another show for Ron Insana.

Regards,

Brian
