LONDON, Jan 12 (Reuters) - UK cable television operators Telewest , Cable and Wireless and NTL Inc are in talks with Home Network on provision of a high-speed Internet service in the UK, the Financial Times said on Monday. It said they were considering a joint venture, in which all four firms would hold equity, to replicate Home's services. The newspaper said the plan was significant because the Home service, which carries data 100 times faster than telephone lines, had contributed to a strong revival of market valuations of U.S. cable companies. In the United States, Home distributes high-speed interactive services to residential and business customers over cable TV systems.
