Cytokine1, *** OT browser ***
I had Navigator 3.0 and lately it crashed about once every
1-2 hours of use. It may have become corrupted.
So I downloaded Navigator 4 and installed it (very easy),
only to discover it doesn't have e-mail. Luckily my V3
Navigator still worked, so I was able to do e-mail by
switching between browsers. Then I tried to upgrade
Navigator 4 to Communicator 4.04 (which has e-mail).
To do that on the Netscape site, you have to register
and they e-mail you a certificate. This must be opened
in V4 (which had no e-mail). So don't go that route.

I ended up downloading Communicator 4.04 (10+MB) and
installing it. Very easy. Works like a charm. (I still
have V3). The address book and bookmark files transferred
to Communicator4 automatically. But I'd back them up anyway.
Have used Communicator 3 days (about 15 hours) without crash.

So, you keep your old browser - therefore there is not
much risk. Your results may vary. <vbg>
Communicator has some nice features: fonts, bold and italic
in e-mail, a web page composer built in and others. I wouldn't
go back to V3 (even if it hadn't crashed).
